3. Step-by-Step Application Process

A. Document Preparation

  • Scan & notarize in English or Romanian:
    • Valid passport
    • Academic transcripts/diplomas
    • Passport-sized photos
    • (If needed) IELTS/TOEFL or preparatory language course registration

B. Send Documents

  • Email scanned copies to the UTM International Office via international@adm.utm.md or elena.scripnic@adm.utm.md 
  • Make reference to your program of interest, intended start year, and expected travel details.

C. Admission Response

  • UTM sends your application to the Moldovan Ministry of Education to issue a study-eligibility certificate and an official invitation letter.
  • You pay the 100 € admission fee (then converted in MDL), after which the invitation letter is issued.

D. Pay Tuition & Apply for Visa/Residence Permit

  • Deposit tuition fee into the university’s bank account (amount in MDL).
  • With your invitation, apply for a student visa at the Moldovan Embassy in Bangladesh.
  • Upon arrival, complete the residence permit process.

E. (If Needed) Language Prep

  • If you’re not comfortable with English or Romanian, enroll in the 8-month preparatory year before Bachelor’s studies.

5. Quick Application Timeline

  1. January–April: Prepare documents and send application.
